CSV File Reader / Write to a CSV File

Recently we came across a great csv helper Nuget package libararry from Josh Close. You could easily find it in the Nuget solution search. I would highly recommend it. Its an incredible option to read CSV and Write to a CSV file as well.I have used it for both of these scenarios and the reading / writing was very easy. Works very well with Azure Functions, Web jobs etc. Simple examples can be found on the below links.

Comparing Values on Parent and Child entity Records in Dynamics 365

Scenario: Parent entity record and child entity record were maintaining a unique value. Due to some technial issues, some child records got generated with a different value other than parent entity record value. The challenge was to find out the records which had a mismatch and then fix them.

Solution:
Created a calculated boolean field on the child entity record.
Formula for calculated field- Set the boolean field if child entity field is not equal to parent entity field value.
Later using advanced find, found out all the records which had the boolean field set. Exported them and updated the right values by referring the parent field value and imported back.

Skype For Business Online to be Retired in 2021

I had used Lync version of Skype for Business and then online as well. Read that its going to retire in 2021. It's a good product but can't compare with Microsoft Teams

New Customization Experience in Dynamics 365 (Power platform)

I was trying to customize something in Dynamics 365 and noticed a notification

So thought to give a try with new experience and clicked on it. Yes, customization window is themed up with powerapp : )

Common Data Service makes much more sense now. You could also create powerapps, flow etc from here.
